Bounden is a dancing game developed by Game Oven. It was available on Google Play yesterday, priced at $2.99. It’s a mobile dancing game for two, featuring dances by the Dutch National Ballet.
The gameplay is easy. Players and their partner hold opposite ends of the phone, and players must move in tandem to follow the path displayed on the phone’s screen. Bounden uses the iPhone’s gyroscope to track both of your movements and make sure they’re in sync with what’s displayed on screen. As the music lulls on, players will swing, twist and twirl along with the on-screen prompts - or bumble their way through as is far more often the case.
The game is just as laugh-inducing as I’d hoped it would be. But more importantly, the app presents a way for people to connect with each other in a way that few other multiplayer games can. Now players can download it for free to have a try. http://bit.ly/1s8XfZV
