ChefVille tutorials series: 11. 'Spring is in the Air'

We've moved into the second half of the Spring Countdown in ChefVille, which means it's time to not only cook new dishes in the "Stove of the Spring," but it's also time to finish four more quests from Bello called "Spring is in the Air." These quests, and the entire Spring Countdown event, will be available for the next seven days, but we're here with a guide to help you finish them off, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

 Rake In the Dough

  • Have Banana Bread Unlocked in the Stove of the Spring
  • Harvest Dough Freezer 3 Times
  • Cook Banana Bread 3 Times

The Banana Bread dish is unlocked by collecting seven Bananas as part of Day 5 in the Spring Countdown event. These Bananas are earned by posting a general request to your news feed for help. Once you've unlocked the dish, you'll be able to cook it using one Banana, three Dough, and one Salt per batch. When you complete this first quest, you'll receive two Flour, 50 XP, and 50 coins.

 Hit the Sack

  • Have Raspberry Scones Unlocked in the Stove of the Spring
  • Harvest from Flour Sacks 3 Times
  • Cook Raspberry Scones

The Raspberry Scone dish is unlocked by collecting seven Rich Raspberries as Day 6 of the Spring Countdown event. These are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors for help. From there, you can actually cook the Raspberry Scones using one Rich Raspberry, two Flour, and two Milk per 15-minute batch. Completing this second quest gives you two Eggs, 50 XP, and 50 coins.

Eat Your Heart Out

  • Have Crown Rack of Lamb Unlocked in the Stove of the Spring
  • Eat 10 of Your Neighbors' Dishes
  • Cook Crown Rack of Lamb 4 Times

The Crown Rack of Lamb dish is unlocked by collecting nine Racks of Lamb from within the Spring Countdown. These are earned by posting a general request to your news feed. The dish itself takes five minutes to cook and requires one Rack of Lamb, one Clove, and two Ginger to cook. When you complete this third quest, you'll receive one Mixed Greens, 75 XP, and 75 coins.

 Green with Envy

  • Have Arugula Egg Salad Unlocked in the Stove of the Spring
  • Collect 4 Mixed Greens
  • Cook Arugula Egg Salad 4 Times

The Arugula Egg Salad can only be unlocked as part of Day 8 of the Spring Countdown, by collecting Arugula. This dish takes 30 minutes to prepare and is cooked using one Arugula, three Mixed Greens, and one Egg. When you finish this final quest in this series, you'll receive two Salt, 75 XP, and 75 coins.

Even though there are only seven days left to complete these quests and the Spring Countdown, there are still four more days' worth of dishes that have yet to be given accompanying quests. It's likely that we'll see one more set of quests launch before this entire event is over, and if that ends up being the case, we'll make sure to let you know. Stay tuned!
