Farmville 2 tutorials series: 1. Fabulous French Gardens Workshop.

Since both of the crops released in the Fabulous French Gardens theme in FarmVille 2 are flowers, it makes sense that we wouldn't see any new food recipes available for cooking using those items in the game's Crafting Kitchen.

Instead, we've seen three new recipes launch in the Crafting Workshop, allowing you to use your new Crimean Irises to create three lovely crafts. We're here with a look at these recipes, which will all be available for the next 27 days in your game.

The first recipe is the Crimean Iris Corsage, which is available to create using eight Crimean Irises and one Wool Thread Spindle.

The Irises can be planted for 30 coins per square and harvested after two hours, while the Wool Thread Spindle is created using six Wool and two Fine Rabbit Wool each.

Crafting a single Crimean Iris Corsage gives you 15 XP, and you'll receive 2,030 coins for each one you sell. The second recipe is the Crimean Iris Bouquet, which can be made using 10 Crimean Irises and one Wool Bolt each. The Wool Bolt is made from just four units of normal wool. Creating a single Crimean Iris Bouquet rewards you with 15 XP, and you can sell a single one for 2,030 coins in the store. The third and final recipe in this theme is the Crimean Iris Wreath. It's made using eight Crimean Irises and eight Pink Lilacs. While the Crimean Irises are technically free to collect, these Pink Lilacs are earned from the Pink Lilac Tree, which costs 12 Farm Bucks to purchase in the store. A single Pink Lilac Tree can be tended once every 12 hours, but if you don't want to purchase one of these trees yourself, you can also tend your friends' trees (if they buy one, that is) for a chance to earn a few Lilacs for your own farm.

Whatever the case, if you do end up creating any of these Wreaths, you'll receive 14 XP for each one you make and can sell a single one for 2,060 coins in the store. These recipes will all be available for the next 27 days, while the themed items (including the Crimean Iris crop) will be available for around 20 days. Good luck making a ton of money off of these limited edition recipes.

ChefVille tutorials series: 8. “Peanuts, Sauced”

One final quest series has been released in ChefVille's Asian Street Food Stand event, as players are asked to build a new Peanut Sauce Mixer in their restaurants. There are three new quests in this "Peanuts, Sauced" series, and we're here with a guide to finishing them off, with help from Zynga. Let's get started!

Peanuts and Love

  • Place and Build Peanut Sauce Maker
  • Cook Banh Mi 5 Times
  • Give 7 Chef's Service with Banh Mi

The Peanut Sauce Maker can be placed for free via this quest window and unwrapped using three energies. From there, you'll need to ask your friends for four Peanut Prowess, four Sample Sticks, four Chop Chats, and four Shell Shams to finish this item off. These building materials are earned through a combination of general news posts placed on your wall and individual requests sent directly to your neighbors. While you're waiting for these parts to arrive, you can work on the Banh Mi tasks, with Banh Mi being available to cook inside the Asian Street Food Stand using two Wheat Bread, three Mixed Greens, and three Tomatoes per batch. Each serving takes just two minutes to prepare. If you've yet to finish your Asian Street Food Stand, make sure to check out our guide to get caught up. Completing this first quest gives you one Rice, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

Your Nutty Friends

  • Ask for 8 Peanut Pizazz
  • Serve 4 Veggie Egg Rolls
  • Collect 9 Wild Mushrooms

The Peanut Pizazz items can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Veggie Egg Rolls are prepared inside the Asian Street Food Stand using three Peanut Sauce, three Onions, and three Mixed Greens per batch. Each one takes six hours to prepare, so feel free to use Spices to speed up this overall quest. You'll earn two Peanut Sauce, 20 XP, and 30 coins when you finish this quest.

  • Have 8 Sauce Shenanigans
  • Cook Peanut Hotteok 3 Times
  • Collect 9 Wild Onions

The Sauce Shenanigans come from your friends, while the Peanut Hotteok is prepared inside the Asian Street Food Stand using three Peanuts, three Flours, and one Sugar. This dish takes 16 hours to prepare, but you don't have to actually wait for it to fully cook to complete this task. Of course, you'll waste Peanuts if you cancel the dish ahead of time, but if you're most interested in speed, keep this in mind as an option.

Completing this final quest gives you an Apple Tree, 40 XP, and 50 coins. There are only seven days left in this entire event, so we wish you luck in completing everything in time!

ChefVille tutorials series: 7. "super parts"

If your ChefVille restaurant is full of unfinished projects, Zynga is hoping to help you complete them with the release of the "Super Part" feature in our restaurants. These Super Parts are similar to the "Special Delivery Boxes" in FarmVille, in that they can be used as any part in the game, regardless of whether it goes to an appliance, ingredient stall, or even decoration like the Chinese New Year Dragon.

The catch with these Super Parts is that Zynga will have to manually enable their use within each and every item within the game, and that simply hasn't happened yet. Still, you can start collecting these items by simply asking your friends to send them to you, and your inventory can hold up to 19 at once. You can earn up to 10 per day, so there's no point in going overboard with requests, since you'll just lose any over 10 that you collect.

Once you find an item that can use these Super Parts, you'll simply look for the "Super Parts" menu at the bottom of the item's build screen and click on "Use Parts" to use a single Super Part per click. On the other hand, if you've already finished everything in your restaurant and you simply wish to help you friends, you can now manually send out Super Parts to your neighbors by selecting this item on the game's free gifts menu.

Again, these Super Parts will become much more worthwhile as Zynga updates previously released items to allow us to use them, but it's a good start either way. Make sure you collect a few of these Super Parts in advance of this wider release, and you'll make tons of progress when this feature completely rolls out.

ChefVille tutorials series: 6. “Here We Grow Again”

Once you've completed the two quests in the "Room to Grow" series in ChefVille, you'll be challenged with completing another set of quests surrounding the Greenhouse. These quests will see you upgrading the Greenhouse to unlock more of your 25 potential storage slots, and we're here with a guide on how to finish them, with help from Zynga. Let's get started!

Greenhouse-Grown Club

  • Upgrade the Greenhouse
  • Cook 8 Times Using Mixed Greens
  • Tend 3 Ingredients in Neighbors' Restaurants

The Greenhouse upgrade can only be completed once you've unlocked all five storage slots in the first page of the item. You'll need to collect building materials from your friends via either general news posts on your wall or individual requests sent to your neighbors, and when it's complete, you'll have two more storage slots to fill. You'll need to collect more Warming Fans to unlock the next three storage slots, and the cycle continues from there.

When you finish this first quest, you'll receive two Asparagus, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

A for Aphid

  • Gather 5 Ladybugs
  • Harvest All Ready Items from the Greenhouse
  • Upgrade the Greenhouse to Level 3

The Ladybugs can be earned by asking your friends to send these items to you, while the harvesting task can be completed by simply heading into the Greenhouse and clicking on the Harvest All button. You'll still need one energy per stored item, but this is a quick way to earn ingredients that are inside. The Level 3 upgrade to the Greenhouse requires more building materials to unlock. You'll need eight Pipes, six Frames, eight Tarps, and six Sprinklers to finish it off. The Sprinklers and Frames are earned by posting general requests on your news feed, while the other items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors. Finishing this final quest gives you two Warming Fans, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

Thankfully, these quests aren't timed, so if you're having trouble upgrading your Greenhouse, don't panic about not finishing these quests before they expire.
