Mildly amusing simulation - Forbidden Garden

Forbidden Garden is a simulation game from 6wares, the publisher of Jewel Epic. Now you can find it at the top of app center, which has more than 500,000 DAU now.

In this game, Players become a kinda comically evil character, which was kicked out of the Academy of Evil. They found an abandoned citadel and thus decided to restore it. Players have to find the secret of ultimate power and to do so they must first get more resources by extending their region. A strong storyline is also added to the game for better engagement. Players start with restoring the citadel by searching for different materials around with the help of minions. Throughout the game, players will build up their own citadel thought out hundreds of quests; and to fight with different heroes in order to restore the ultimate power.
Just like many other simulation games, at the beginning, players will gradually build up their base as the story and then bring schemes to fruition with finishing every guest one the left. But Forbidden Garden adds a few features. All tasks can be automated after the building has been constructed. You don’t need to worry about missing the harvesting time. Other buildings open up new gameplay features. The most addicting is that you will enjoy the tasks though it’s tedious as they advance the game story where you can find in the second paragraph. Just click the help button “?” in every task window if players forget where the items are so that they will be redirected to the location. That’s a sweet setting for newbie as the map is so wide.
There are a few flaws that mar the experience a little. Firstly, there seems to be no sound or music. It’s horrible for the game as music may call out players’ enthusiasm. Secondly, there are so many errors of the spelling, as many as mine:). Well, I think they should check these again before it’s online.

Besides this issues, Forbidden Garden is quiet a mildly amusing simulation. You can enjoy the game, and the story of becoming a universally evil overlord.
